Sometime, in the distant future, rapidly propagating life forms of unknown origin prey on mankind .As they drive humans to extinction they also send time, spiraling, in reverse. At the end of this spiral lies the present. A giant hive discharges a powerful shockwave as it emerges from underground; life will never be the same. Like a massive earth quake the hive experiences regular intervals of expansion and calm. The awe inspiringly monstrous Christmas tree like den is dubbed Babel. And it’s denizens of coiled forms; the Twisted.
In the winter of 2010 an investigatory team known as the CTI is formed. Shortly after the over drive system is incorporated, altogether redefining the way in which missions will be conducted. However, only one candidate proves compatible with the system.
On the occasion of her third birth, I offer this gift, to she who has awakened from her lost past. Aya Brea. As humanity remains trapped in times coil, she is the soul hope. Perhaps it is she that is the gift to us. The Third Birthday. |
